Historical evolution

In January 2018, Zhongjing Diamond was officially incorporated in Yiling District, Yichang City, mainly engaged in cultivating diamond products. On January 6, the project of cultivating diamond industrialization was launched. On April 10, the transformation of one press D was completed and put into production. At the end of the year, 12 presses were put into production, with the annual output of less than 10000 carats.

In 2019, the diamond market was sluggish, and the company once faced difficulties in capital turnover. At the critical juncture of life and death, the Jingri Party Committee coordinated and helped the company successfully complete the construction of the 10KV power distribution project in the plant area. 24 presses operated normally, mainly producing 1.5carat and 2.5carat cultivated diamonds. Small scale industrial production took shape, and the income achieved a breakthrough of zero.

In 2020, faced with the unprecedented severe impact of the COVID-19, all employees will work together to overcome the difficulties, explore and cultivate diamond technology, and at the same time, land the original industrial sawdust grade diamonds in Yichang, realizing "walking on two legs". At the end of the year, 54 diamond cultivation presses and 40 single crystal presses were put into operation simultaneously.

In 2021, breakthrough progress will be made in diamond cultivation technology. All single crystal presses will be converted to diamond cultivation. 116 presses will start to produce and cultivate diamonds at the same time. Profitability will increase significantly, income will double, and profit will double.

In 2022, Zhongjing Diamond will complete the relocation, installation, commissioning and start-up of 28 compressors in the headquarters around the Spring Festival. Up to now, there are 144 sets of Zhongjing diamond production sites and 143 sets of equipment to industrially produce 3-6 carats of cultivated diamonds.

In the past five years, thanks to the joint efforts of all Jingri people and Zhongjing people, Zhongjing Diamond has blazed a new trail and reborn from Nirvana in the throes of production transformation and transformation. It has written a chapter of Zhongjing seeking progress in stability and making concerted efforts to promote transformation.
