On September 17, the Working Conference on Central Enterprises' Assistance to Tibet and the Conference on State owned Central Enterprises' Assistance to Tibet's High Quality Development were held in Lhasa. Hao Peng, Secretary and Director of the Party Committee of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Wu Yingjie, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and Qi Zala, President of the Autonomous Region Government, delivered a speech.   The State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the national state-owned assets system and the central enterprises have thoroughly implemented the decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee on the implementation of the strategy of targeted assistance to Tibet. They have continuously increased efforts to help Tibet, implemented a large number of infrastructure construction projects, strongly promoted the economic and social development of Tibet, and provided great support for Western Tibet to win the battle against poverty and build a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way.

On behalf of the Party committee and government of the autonomous region, Wu Yingjie expressed heartfelt thanks to the state-owned assets and enterprises system for its long-term concern and support for Tibet's work. He stressed that during the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" period, Tibet entered a new and greater period of development opportunities. He hoped that the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the national state-owned assets system and the central enterprises would continue to care about and support the development of Tibet, give full play to the advantages of talent and technology, and help Tibet to feel its pulse and make suggestions in the complete, accurate and comprehensive implementation of new development concepts, services and integration into the new development pattern. Before the meeting, the participants watched an exhibition of achievements of state owned central enterprises in aiding and building Tibet during the "13th Five Year Plan" period. At the meeting, the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council signed a memorandum of cooperation with the government of the Tibet Autonomous Region during the "Fourteenth Five Year Plan" period, and the relevant central enterprises signed cooperation agreements with the government of the Tibet Autonomous Region and regional state-owned enterprises. On behalf of the central enterprises and the local SASACs, the counterpart to Tibet made an exchange speech.

Niu Jianhua, Secretary of the Party Committee of the General Administration, attended the meeting. During the meeting, Niu Jianhua visited the achievement exhibition of central enterprises, had in-depth exchanges with the responsible persons of relevant parties, and had a discussion with the responsible persons of enterprises in Tibet of the Northwest Bureau.

Leaders from the central enterprises, provincial and municipal SASACs, and relevant departments and bureaus of the SASAC under the State Council that have provided assistance to Tibet attended the meeting.
